Buffalo Woman is a central myth of the plains tribes, especially the Lakota & Sioux, but not only these two tribes. Buffalo Woman is often referred to by the name of White Buffalo Calf Woman by the Lakota. She is the one who brought them the Seven Sacred Rituals.

There are, as is with many of the Worlds Mythologies, various versions; all of them with more or less the same intend of teachings.

The Central theme is this: To have communication with the Creator through Prayer with clear intend for Peace, Harmony and Balance for all Life living in the Earth Mother.
