The term ‘Whimpomdearies’ is a composite of: Whimsy, Pompous and Dear.  Whimsy: Expressed by all of us; some more, some less, as we find delight in life and all it has to offer.  Pompous: …is what we appear to be when we suffer from inflated Self-importance.  Dear: Refers to our charmed open-hearted approach to life, which can be wonderfully naïve at times.  I have such a fun time creating these little characters that are a mirror image of us all, told or sculpted with a ‘tongue- in- cheek’ approach.  These little figures capture our behavior with a smile at our sometime silly ways, what is missing is meanness.  May you enjoy them as much as I enjoy creating them.
