His medium is most often oil & acrylic, both on canvas or board.  In either case his work can be summed up by the terms: stunning, evocative as well as technically superb.  “I am moved to paint primarily by affection.  From an emotional response and an emphatic understanding of my subject, I produce art which is Romantic in nature.  I have an impressionistic bend, looking for form as it is revealed by light rather than in the gravity of substance.  Still, for me the ultimate beauty is already here in nature itself.”
