Terrell and Amanda Dye discovered their mutual love for pottery when they attended a hand building class at their local community college.  Terrell enjoys throwing functional and nonfunctional ware. He also hand builds and sculpts.  His style ranges from hyper realistic to the absolutely absurd.  Amanda hand builds mostly decorative pieces and takes great care in applying detailed and intricate glaze work.  She draws much of her inspiration from the early twentieth century and lives by the words of the father of the Arts and Crafts movement William Morris, “Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.”  The Dyes invite you to shun inadequate machine made mass produced items and embrace high quality handmade one of a kind pieces of art.  Enrich your life and support your local artists.
